SJMHE1 treatment regulates the expression of cytokines from the splenocytes and colons of mice with DSS-induced chronic colitis. On day 30, the mice were killed, and the splenocytes (a) and colon (b) from each mouse were tested for the expression levels of IFN-γ, IL-4, IL-17, IL-10, TGF-β and IL-35 mRNA by qRT-PCR. Data are presented as mean ± SEM of 18 mice from three independent experiments. Asterisks indicate significant difference at: *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001
